OPENING DAY is just around the corner...
Austin Senior Softball League (“ASSL”) is an adult slow pitch softball association comprised of three divisions: A Division (50+); B Division (55+) and C Division (65+). 2026 marks the 23nd anniversary of ASSL. Since its inception, the League has grown steadily with a current membership of 223 senior Players in 2025. Members who qualify by age may choose to participate in all divisions simultaneously.
Senior Softball Players of all levels are invited to participate in the League. 2026 Registration is held from January 12 through February 15. To learn more about us, please review this website. To register to play, please go to “Registration” on the website Home Page.
The ASSL season begins in March and lasts through November involving four separate sessions. All divisions play at Krieg Athletic Complex, 515 S. Pleasant Valley Rd, Austin, TX 78741. A Division (Sunday Night Division, 50+) is currently comprised of six teams and plays on Sunday nights starting at 5:00p. B Division (55+) is currently comprised of seven teams and plays on Mondays and Thursdays with games at 10:30a, 11:30a and 12:30p. C Division (65+) currently has five teams and plays on Mondays and Thursdays with games at 8:30a and 9:30a. B division hosts an End of Year Tournament in late November among its teams.
Each division of ASSL is governed by a Board of Directors elected from and by the membership.
